Personal information

Ms. Nerissa A. Greene became a partner in 2008 and was a renowned public speaker on “Pandora’s Box” a popular Radio talk show on Gems Radio, which discusses topical legal issues and addresses concerns from the general community. The show Pandora Box has assisted persons in understanding the laws of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, in addition to the procedures applied in the Supreme Courts. As a radio personality Ms. Greene has been requested to speak at various Legal Forums and Seminars. She has held the position as Secretary on the Board of Directors of Success Training College and is a volunteer as a Legal Consultant for the Civil Society.

Ms. Greene has extensive legal experience concentrated in the areas of banking and compliance law, civil and commercial Litigation, conveyancing, dispute resolution, family Law, adoption/child custody, divorce and matrimonial, insurance litigation, financial service law and financial trusts litigation, law of insolvency, mortgages, real estate and employment law. She as represented both local and international clients in a number of important litigious cases in the Supreme Court. In addition, Ms. Green provides legal advice and counsel to major international and local financial service providers and corporations in the area of debt recovery, asset-tracing and property seizures.

 Educational background

Ms. Greene obtained an Associate of Arts Degree (Hons) from the College of The Bahamas and a Dual Honours Degree in Business Administration & Management and LLB (Hons) from the University of Keele, Staffordshire, England. She was called to Bar of England and Wales in July, 2000 as a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple and to the The Bahamas Bar in December, 2000. Ms. Greene is also admitted to the State of Albany, New York Bar in August, 2004.
